Beech Sprung Bed Slats 53mm x 12mm x 1400mm or Custom Length

These Extra Thick 53mm Beech Sprung Bed Slats are very strong and made to last many years. They are manufactured for us Europe from 100% Beech.

These Sprung slats are of the highest quality and laminated for a long lasting slat. There are many cheaper alternatives made from Birch or Poplar usually supplied on most bed frames. Beech is known to be an extremely hard wood with excellent strength values that are retained under constant pressure. The greater the number of layers of rotary-cut veneer, the better the bending strength of these sprung bed slats.

The standard depth of sprung slats is 8mm, These slats are 50% thicker and finished in a 12mm thickness and perfect for customers who are heavier than average or for our customers that simply want a stronger slat.

THESE SLATS WILL NEED TO GO INTO 12mm DEPTH SLAT HOLDERS, IF YOUR HOLDERS ARE FOR 8MM SLATS THEN THESE SLATS WILL NEED TO BE CHAMFERED AT THE ENDS TO ENSURE THEY FIT IN THE HOLDER.

We have machinery in our workshop and are able to offer an In house cutting service to meet your exact requirements. We will also ensure that the slats are cut down evenly from both sides to maintain the sprung aspect of the slat. You will find the option to use our cutting service when placing your online order.
